Schorbuser Blut is a perennial succulent with a dense, creeping growth
habit. It is an eye-catching hybrid. In late Summer, it produces eye-catching red blossoms among
attractive dense, bronze-green evergreen foliage which turns to a lovely
rosy hue in the Fall. Sedum spurium 'Dragon's Blood' provides Winter
interest as the foliage pokes out from under the snow. Two-row
Stonecrop is easily propagated from herbaceous stem or leaf cuttings.
It thrives best in well-drained, neutral to mildly alkaline soil and
quickly forms a nice mat. Schorbuser Blut is drought tolerant. Mass
plant for an exquisite groundcover. Use them on slopes or containers
for a cascading effect. Sedum spurium 'Dragon's Blood' is drought
tolerant and is low maintenance.
