Comments: Sedum takesimense or Sedum or Phedimus takesimensis is an evergreen perennial succulent with a low clumping growth habit. It has light green evergreen succulent, saw-toothed foliage that forms cute little rosettes. In mid-Summer, Sedum takesimense produces small, bright yellow blossoms. Phedimus takesimensis is easily propagated from layering, rootball divisions or stem cuttings. It thrives best in well-drained, moderately rich, acidic or alkaline soil in a sunny environment. Sedum takesimense is low maintenance. It is drought tolerant and is excellent for xeriscaping. Mass plant as exquisite ground covers or in the front border for a dramatic display. It soon forms a nice rounded mound. Use this Asian native in a rock garden setting. Pedhimus takesimensis is a show stopper.
