In mid-Summer it produces pink and mauve blossoms among evergreen variegated foliage. Butterflies and bees are attracted to the nectar-rich blossoms. Sedum spurium 'Tricolor' is easily propagated from stem cuttings, rootball divisions or layering. It thrives best in well-drained, neutral or mildly alkaline soil in a sunny location. Two-row Stonecrop tolerates drought conditions and is low maintenance. It is a showy foliage plant in the rock garden. Mass plant Sedum spurium 'Tricolor' for an excellent groundcover. It is an ideal xeriscaping plant in the dry areas of the landscape.
