Comments:
Aeschynanthus 'Black Pagoda' or Basket Vine or Basketvine or Lipstick Plant is an evergreen tropical tender perennial herb with a slow, vining growth habit.  This is a cousin to the Lipstick Plant.  In late Summer, clusters of exotic lipstick-like blossoms appear.   In the absence of flowers, Aeschynanthus 'Black Pagoda' is a highly desirable foliage plant. Basket Vine is easily propagated from softwood cuttings and performs well in a bright light or full shade moist, environment.  Aeschynanthus 'Black Pagoda'  looks fabulous in hanging baskets; allow the awesome foliage to cascade down its sides.  Basketvine makes an ideal indoor plant for the home or office.  This epiphyte loves the heat and humidity.  Do not overwater.
