Blooms:  Year-round, 4", large, cherry-ice cream 5 partially overlapped petals, funnel-shaped,  scented
Foliage:  Evergreen  
Soil:  Well-drained, moist, acidic /alkaline
(Soil pH: 5.9-6.0 / 7.9-8.5).  Mulch to protect from frost
Water:  Regular
Propagation: Seeds, cuttings, layering
Insects/Disease:  Watch out for White flies, nematodes, spider-tick
Uses:  Trellis, ground cover, hanging basket, container
Caution:  May be invasive, Latex may cause allergic reaction
Comments:  Allamanda 'Cherries Jubilee' or Cherry Allamanda or Purple Allamanda is a beautiful tropical vine that is easy to grow.  An attractive plant with unusual colored blooms look really nice when grown along the fence.
