Comments:  Ipomoea quamoclit or Quamoclit pennata or Cypress Vine or Hummingbird Vine or Star Glory is an easy to grow graceful climber which self-sows freely.  Deadhead to prevent volunteer plants the following season.  I leave some of the dried seeds on the plant and have many Star Glory seedlings come back every Spring.  You will have many to share with friends if you do the same; the volunteer plants are easily propagated or remove.  Hummingbirds, bees and butterflies all love this plant.  There is also a rare pure white cultivar and a pink cultivar of Ipomoea quamoclit.
USDA Hardiness Zones :  7-9
