Origin:  Native to Tropical America
Light:  Light shade
Height:  10-12'
Spacing:  3-6'
Foliage:  Smooth, herbaceous, blue and dark green splashes, heart-shaped
Soil:  Well-drained, rich, loose, moist    
Water:  Regular to generous
Propagation: Layering, herbaceous stem cuttings (roots easily in water)
Uses:  Arbor, trellis, porch, container, indoor, hanging baskets
Caution:  Invasive
Comments:  Philodendron Brasil or Philodendron is an low-maintenance and carefree evergreen tropical climbing plant with nice glossy foliage. Mist it often in the Summer and bring them indoors for the Winter.  Can be grown as a filter plant for an aquarium to remove nitrate
