Comments: The gorgeous Lonicera semperivirens or Trumpet
Honeysuckle or Coral Honeysuckle is a hardy climbing
perennial that stays green all winter for me. This vining plant is easy to grow, is
pest-free and it attracts the bees, butterflies and the ruby-throat
hummingbirds.
I train my Lonicera semperivirens plant to climb up my upstairs front porch and it looks so lovely with
so many blooms dangling off the railings. Prune plant to maintain shape
and size.
