Foliage:  Glossy dark green, leathery
Soil:  Well-drained, poor
Water: Regulard, Drought tolerant

Uses:  Trellis, arbors, hedges

Caution:  May cause allergic reaction or skin irritation
Comments:  Tecoma capensis or Cape Honeysuckle is a lovely heat-tolerant perennial vine that attracts bees and hummingbirds.  It has a fast growth and can be pruned to an upright shrub.  Protect from frost.
