Comments: Uniola paniculata or Sea Oats is an interesting
ornamental tropical perennial
that is very tolerant of salt and heat. They are often found growing on
sea dunes along the beach. I love the lovely
foliage when they swayed in the wind. Sea Oats look very nice especially in
winter with their interesting seedheads hanging on the plants.
These are great plant for soil
erosion control, privacy fencing, borders or as specimen or accent
plants. Uniola paniculata are easy to grow and they beautify
the perennial landsscape when planted in masses.
