Comments: Alocasia macrorrhiza or Upright Elephant Ear or Giant Elephant Ear Taro or Giant Taro is a beautiful specimen bulb plant that grows well in ponds and wet areas. Upright Elephant Ear has large foliage and looks very nice when grown in masses in the shade.  The frost will kill the top of Giant Taro however the bulb will send out new shoots in Spring.
