Origin:  Argentina and Uruguay

Blooms:  Large, showy, rose-pink , near white,  with purple base, on long stalk, late Spring 
Foliage:    Blue green, smooth

Comments:  Habranthus martinerii or Rain Lily is a pretty perennial bulb plant with a showy display.  This plant is easily grown from seed or by bulb division.  Rain Lily look very lovely when grown in masses. in the perennial bedding, border or containers and they make excellent cut flower arrangements.  Protect Habranthus martinerii plants from frost. Butterflies and hummingbirds love this Rain Lily plants.
