It has a stiff and strong trunk. The lovely blossoms of Lilium superbum
make superb cut flower arrangements and are attracted
to hummingbirds, butterflies and bees. This clump-forming bulb plant
thrives well in a moist area with full sun or light shade and
mulch provided at its feet. When grown in masses, the eye-catching blooms
of American Turkscap Lily look spectacular in the woodland setting of
the garden. Turks Cap Lily are easily propagated from bulb division.
