Comments:  Dracunculus vulgaris or Dragon Arum is a very unusual plant.   There are dull green spots are seen along the stems of Dragon Arum.  Butterflies and hummingbirds love the striking deep red blossoms of Dragon Arum.  This drought tolerant bulb plant is resistant to rots and virus.  Dragon Arum is easily propagated from bulb divisions.  Grow Dracunculus vulgaris in masses in the full or part sun perennial beds or borders for a dramatic effect.  This eye-catching plant look just as great in a container for decorating your patio or deck.
