Origin:  Tropical Asia
Family:  Zingiberaceae
Light:  Sun-Part shade/light shade

Spread:  About 6-8' 
Blooms:  Very fragrant, light yellow, long spikes, late Summer 
Foliage:   Green, long
Soil:  Rich, keep moist
Water: High moisture needs

Caution:  Can be invasive
Comments: Hedychium flavescens or Yellow Ginger is a beautiful tropical perennial.
