Echinopsis chaecereus f. lutea 'Yellow Peanut' or Peanut Cactus is an interesting cactus that is cylindrical in shape with soft spikes on the stems.  It It thrives in either full sun or full shade and is a carefree and low maintenance plant.  Peanut Cactus is drought tolerant and looks great in the xeriscaping garden or gow it in a ocntainer as an indoor plant.
