Yucca aloifolia or Dagger Plant or Spanish Bayonet is a tall and handsome
single-stemmed rosette succulent plant with an erect trunk.
This beautiful cactus plant produces offsets near base of trunk which
gradually forms a thicket. Yucca aloifolia is a low-maintenance,
carefree and very easy to grow cactus. It makes a statement in the
xeriscaping landscape especially during blooming season with its
long-lasting flowers. Interesting to note that Yucca flower is the
state flower of New Mexico.
