Origin:  Tropical southwest, Africa
Light:  Full sun/sun-part shade/full shade
Height:  8'
Spacing:  2-3'
Foliage:  Green, very small, grows at the tip
Soil:  Keep dry between waterings

Water:  Little-moderate
Propagation: Stem cuttings
Uses:  Container, xeriscaping, landscaping, rock garden, fencing
Caution:  Spiny plant.  Milky corrosive sap from stem cuttings may cause allergic reactions. 
Comments:  Euphorbia trigona or African Milk Tree is a beautiful drought tolerant  succulent shrub.  The stems are triangular-shaped with a pale green strip between the spiny ridges.  It is easy to grow and needs no maintenance whatsoever. Can be pruned back to maintain shape and size.  Protect from frost.  Watch out for slugs and aphids
