Origin:  India, Tropical West Africa
Family:  Agavaceae

Spread:  1'-6'   
Blooms:  Pleasantly fragrant, greenish white flowers, on simple/branched raceme, when pot bound  
   
Foliage:  Variegated, sword-like rosettes of flat, upright blades, vertical from basal rosette

Drought tolerant
Water:  Only when dry.  Overwatering can cause root rot

Sansevieria trifasciata 'Laurentii' or Variegated Snake Plant or Devil's Tongue or Mother-In-Law's Tongue or Bowstring Hemp or Snakeskin Plant or Good Luck Plant or Lucky Plant is a carefree and drought tolerant succulent  that produces a green berry fruit..  This plant is popularly used indoors as an air filter plant for its ability to to cleanse the air in the atmosphere. It spreads by rhizomes and it is advisible to propagate by rhizomes so that its variegation would  be retained.Variegated Snake Plant loves humidity and can tolerate outdoor temperature of up to 28 degrees F.
