Comments: Mentha suavolens or Apple Mint or Woolly Mint plant is
an easy to grow attractive herb plant. It loves cool feet and self-sows. Grow it in
a container to control its spread or deadhead. Prune to maintain
shape and size. The flavorful leaves of the Apple Mint can be
used to make a refreshing drink or in iced or hot tea. Very often I make
a delicious drink using 4 large leaves, steep in hot water for at least
5 minutes then add honey to taste. I love Apple Mint plants. They
are very useful plants to have in my herbal
garden.
