Origin:  Mediterranean, Asia, North Africa

Comments:  Oregano is a low-growing, easy-to-grow herb with many uses, the flavorful leaves of which are used in Mediterranean cuisine.  Harvest just before plant blooms for maximum flavor. Hang stems to dry, store in air-tight container.  Crush leaves just before use.  Plant attracts bees, trim to promote bushiness.  Overwinter indoors
